Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing exo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene (exo-THDC), by which the exo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene having high purity, little containing residual metals, and used for the use of semiconductors can be produced from dicyclopentadiene (DCP) as a starting raw material. SOLUTION: This method for producing the exo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene (exo-THDC) comprises [1] a process of hydrogenating DCP in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst to obtain the endo-tetrahydrodicyclopentadiene (endo-THDC), [2] a process of isomerizing the endo-THDC obtained in [1] in the presence of a fluorine-containing ultra strong acid catalyst to obtain the exo-THDC, and [3] a water-washing process.
