Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cut off a leakage magnetic field leaking from an MRI device using less amount of electromagnetic steel plates. SOLUTION: A magnetic shield room comprises a first shield face material 11 and a second shield face material 12 that are perpendicular to the axis of an annular coil disposed on the MRI device 9, and the other third shield face materials 13 to 16. In each of the first and second shield face materials 11 and 12, strip-shaped electromagnetic steel plates 3 are so disposed that a long side of the rectangular section of the shield face material is in the direction of face thickness of the shield face material. The strip-shaped electromagnetic steel plates 3 are extended at intervals of arbitrary angles with each other from the point at which the shield face materials 11 and 12 are almost perpendicular to the axis/to the periphery thereof. In each of third to sixth shield face materials 13 to 16, a plurality of strip-shaped electromagnetic steel plates 3 are so arranged over a plurality of stages at given intervals as to interconnect the strip-shaped electromagnetic steel plates 3 extended up to the periphery of the shield face materials 11 and 12.
