Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet which is an inexpensive inkjet recording sheet excelling in suppression of curling just after printing in an inkjet recording system, and is also used as an electrophotographic recording sheet. SOLUTION: In the recording sheet having recording layers consisting of one or more coated layers having a pigment and a binder as main components on both faces of a paper base material, the pigment on at least one coating layer is a needle-like pigment with a diameter ratio (average length/average breadth) of 3-70, and a Cobb water absorbency for twenty seconds of the contact time of the paper base material with water set in JIS P8140, is 0.2-1.5g/m2per basis weight (1g/m2).
