FLAPPING FLYING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flapping flying body where efficiency of floatation is improved in stroking down wings even when the vertically flapping form of the wings is equal, by making a special wing constitution. SOLUTION: A trunk 1 includes: a pair of left and right wings 10 and 20; and a drive mechanism 30 for making the wings flap. A tail fin 3 is provided at a trunk rear part. The wings are formed of outer peripheral frame bones 10A and 20A. Many supporting bones 11 and 21 orthogonal to the longitudinal direction A of the wings and parallel to the longitudinal direction B of the trunk 1 are framed inside the outer peripheral frame bones; at each supporting bone, a swinging shaft core O is supported together in the longitudinal direction of the trunk with the pivotally supporting side of a slave blade as a trunk side; the free end side of each slave blade is locked while superposed from the lower face side toward the tip sides of the wings to the slave blade on the tip side; respective slave blades are made to be a wing of aggregation superposed without any clearance in the flapping flying body 100.
