ELECTRIC CABLE HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable holder that can facilitate the motion of holding a high-voltage cable and let a worker hold the electric cable without a danger in cutting off or connecting a cable while securing worker's safety. SOLUTION: The electric cable holder 1 comprises an electric cable gripper 2 that has gripping pieces 7 and 8 to grip an electric cable 10, an attachment 4 that is mounted on a bar-like member such as a cross arm or the like mounted on an electric pole, and a telescopic part 3 that connects the attachment 4 with the electric cable gripper 2 so that the distance from the attachment 4 of the electric cable gripper 2 fluctuates. The power supplied by a power generator 14 operates the drive means of the electric cable gripper 2, the telescopic part 3, and the attachment 4. The electric cable holder 1 also has control means 22, 23, 24, and 25 to control the drive means. The signals to control the control means 22, 23, 24, and 25 can be input by a remote input device.
