ULTRA LOW DROPOUT VOLTAGE REGULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultra low dropout voltage regulator which is designed so as to minimize the size of a chip by reducing standby power consumption, and is designed to stably and precisely shut down the chip by being more rapidly responded to the overload or overvoltage of the chip, thus giving ultra low dropout characteristics even at a low output voltage. SOLUTION: The ultra low dropout voltage regulator includes a chip driving unit, a low voltage reference voltage generation unit, a pass element, a feedback resistor, a gate drive stage, an overheat protection circuit, an overcurrent limiter, and an overheat protection control logic.
