MOUNTING DEVICE AND METHOD OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting device capable of mounting precisely a circuit board on one side part of a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: This device includes a θ-driving source 8 for rotating a θ-table 7 having the liquid crystal display panel placed on the upper surface successively at each prescribed angle from the first rotation position to the second rotation position and the third rotation position; an imaging camera 36 for imaging a mark on the liquid crystal display panel when the θ-table is rotated successively to each rotation position by the θ-driving source; and a control device 35 for calculating X, Y coordinates of the mark on each rotation position from an imaging signal of the imaging camera, determining each formula of the first straight line passing a midpoint of the first line segment connecting the mark on the first rotation position to the mark on the second rotation position based on calculation and crossing orthogonally to the first line segment and the second straight line passing a midpoint of the second line segment connecting the mark on the second rotation position to the mark on the third rotation position and crossing orthogonally to the second line segment, and calculating an intersection point between the first line segment and the second line segment from the two formulas, to thereby determine the rotation center of the θ-table.
