Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active vibration isolating support device capable of effectively suppressing transient vibration which occurs at engine start, and a control method therefor. SOLUTION: An ACMECU calculates the engine rotation speed NE2 immediately after initial explosion after detecting the initial explosion of an engine on the basis of a crank pulse detected by a crank pulse sensor, determines the increasing rate NEr of engine rotation speed immediately after initial explosion by calculating the engine rotation speed NE1 immediately before initial explosion on the basis of a crank pulse immediately before initial explosion which is measured in advance, estimates a vibration state of a roll vibration of an engine corresponding to the determined increasing rate NEr by referencing a map stored in a storage part, and controls an ACM on the basis of the estimated vibration state of the roll vibration.
