Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe washing pig which can efficiently wash an internal surface of a water service pipe, and can scrub the internal surface of the same by being inserted into/withdrawn from a branch pipe narrower than the water service pipe. SOLUTION: The pipe washing pig for the water service pipe is formed of a front end block 30, contaminant discharging friction plates 31, and an impermeable packing material 32. The contaminant discharging friction plates 31 are arranged on a rear side of the front end block 30, connected to each other via spacers 33 smaller in outer shape than the front end block 30, and made of a soft material that is deformed along the internal surface of the water service pipe 1 when inserted into the same. The impermeable packing material 32 is arranged on a rear side of the contaminant discharging friction plates 31 via the spacer 33 smaller in outer shape than the contaminant discharging friction plates 31, and elastically deformed along the internal surface of the water service pipe 1 when inserted into the same. According to the pipe washing pig, the impermeable packing material 32 is pressed by the pressure of pressurized water fed to the water service pipe 1, and force-fed into the water service pipe 1, whereby the contaminant discharging friction plates 31 in a force-fed state scrub the internal surface of the water service pipe 1.
