Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid composition which imparts excellent sizing property, ink-jet printing suitability and roll suitability to paper and hardboard and has good low foamability. SOLUTION: Provided is the coating liquid composition for paper and hardboard, which contains a copolymer alkali salt [A] obtained by reacting olefins (a) containing a 12 to 18C olefin with a maleic acid compound (b) and an anionic acrylamide-based resin [B] obtained by reacting an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (salt) (c) with an acrylamide compound (d). Provided is preferably the coating liquid composition for the paper and the hardboard, wherein the effective component weight ratio of the copolymer alkali salt [A] to the anionic acrylamide-based resin [B] is 5-200 to 100.
