COATING LIQUID COMPOSITION AND PAPER AND HARDBOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating liquid composition which imparts excellent sizing property, ink-jet printing suitability and roll suitability to paper and hardboard and has good low foamability. SOLUTION: Provided is the coating liquid composition for paper and hardboard, which contains an aqueous resin dispersion [A] obtained by emulsion-polymerizing a hydrophobic vinylic monomer (b) in an anionic polymer dispersant (a) aqueous solution containing a copolymer alkali salt obtained by reacting an olefin with a maleic acid compound, an anionic acrylamide-based resin [B] obtained by reacting an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (salt) (c) with an acrylamide compound (d). Provided is preferably the coating liquid composition for the paper and the hardboard, wherein the effective component weight ratio of the aqueous resin dispersion [A] to the anionic acrylamide-based resin [B] is 5-200 to 100.
