Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diverter for high temperature used for a direct-reduction iron without causing a bad change caused by the thermal expansion and the slippage of a valve plate and a locally cooling shortage due to the air staying into a water flowing passage formed in the valve plate. SOLUTION: In the diverter 1 for high temperature, the high temperature direct-reduction iron discharged from a discharging device in a rotating hearth furnace is charged into a direct-reduction iron vessel respectively disposed at the lower part of respective passages 3, 4 by distributing the high temperature direct-reduction iron into either one of two branched of passages 3, 4 with the valve plate 5 provided in the distributing point through a shooter 2 divided into two branched passages at the lower part. Wherein, the valve plates connected with valve shafts 6 at the upper part are respectively provided in one piece in the respective passage inlets 3a, 4a at the distributing point of the valve plates 5, and the direct-reduction iron is distributed into the respective passages 3, 4 by mutually opening/closing the passage inlets 3a, 4a with these two pieces of valve plates 5 and also, water-flowing passages for flowing the cooling water, are arranged by communicating with the inner parts of the valve shafts 6 and the valve plates 5.
