Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic coating apparatus in which an electric motor is prevented from being heated to high temperature and the electric motor is made small-sized and lightweight to miniaturize and lighten the electrostatic coating apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrostatic apparatus 100 is provided with an AC servomotor 130 for driving and rotating a rotary atomizing head 120 rotating to atomize a coating material, an air jetting part 116 having an air jetting port 116c from which shaping air SA is jetted to the outside and an air passage 180 through which cooling air KA to cool the AC servomotor 130 is passed, wherein the air passage 180 communicates with the air jetting port 116c to supply the cooling air KA used for cooling the AC servomotor 130 to the air jetting port 116c as the shaping air SA.
