Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a controller electrically connected to a drug unit. SOLUTION: An electrotransport system 10 includes: a reusable controller 12 having a power source; and a drug-containing unit 30 having a donor electrode and a counter electrode, which is separably disposed. A coupling means physically and electrically connects the controller 12 and the drug unit 30. Thus, the controller 12 provides electrical current to the drug unit 30 for electrotransport delivery of the drug to a body surface (e.g. the skin) of a patient.
