INFORMATION PROCESSOR, AND OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of solving a problem wherein a time from reception of a user operation to transmission of output of a PC is long; and an output control method. SOLUTION: This information processor 100 includes: a processing means 5 outputting data different from a TV program in accordance with a power supply situation; an output means 106 executing output in response to received data; blocking means 9 and 10 blocking input of data to the output means 106; a switch means 6a controlling power supply to the processing means 5; first and second storage means 1b and 12 storing a reception reservation time; first and second timepiece means 1a and 13; an input means 101b receiving a user operation; a start means 101a1 outputting a start signal upon the reception of the user operation and when the time of the timepiece means 1a is set at the reception reservation time; and a control means 11 turning off the blocking means 9 and 10, and supplying power to the processing means 5 when the reception time of the start signal is different from the reception reservation time in receiving the start signal while the power supply to the processing means 5 is stopped.
