Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP manufacturing method saving energy for manufacture to realize low-cost manufacture of a PDP displaying a high quality image. SOLUTION: In the plasma display panel manufacturing method, a glass substrate 22 formed with a precursor material layer of the structure of the plasma display panel is put into a heat treatment device main body 26 in a state mounted on a support stand 23 to heat the substrate while conveying to bake the precursor material. Then, the glass substrate 22 is separated from the support stand 23. The glass substrate 22 is forcedly cooled to about a room temperature by a cooling means 30 while conveying within a return conveyor 29.
