ON-BOARD NAVIGATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-board navigation device that facilitates a route search including intermediate stopover points. SOLUTION: When a vehicle travels off a course on a guide route searched by the on-board navigation device 1 to stop by at a stopover point which is not on the guide route, restarts an engine after stopping it at the stopover point and then returns to the guide route again, a control device 2 stores the stopover point, a part of the guide route before going off the course, and a part of the guide route after returning to the guide route from the stopover point, as a set. When the searched guide route includes part of the guide route stored in the control device 2 in the past, a route is searched again to go off the course on the guide route searched at first, to pass the stopover point halfway and to return to the guide route again.
