WAIST PART RESTRAINING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide structure of a waist part restraining device capable of using a compact inflater such as a microgas generator (MGG) or the like and reducing cost of the whole device. SOLUTION: This waist part restraining device is provided with a gas supply means for supplying expansion gas when a shock occurs, an inflating means stored in a lower part of a seating part of a seat (hereinafter referred to as a "seat cushion") while being compressed and inflated and deployed upward by the expansion gas, a frame member arranged in the lower part of the seat cushion to push the seat cushion upward by deployment of the inflating means, and a top plate arranged in an upper part of the inflating means and capable of rising in the interlocking relationship with the inflating means.
