METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WOOD-LIKE MOLDED ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wood-like molded article which excellently harmonizes with a resin, and lowers water absorption to prevent the dimensional change, deformation, crack, etc., over a long period of time. SOLUTION: The pulverized powder of the woody waste material obtained by pulverizing woody waste materials is subjected to an acetylation treatment to form acetylated wood powder, and the waste material-mixed resin prepared by mixing a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting resin, and impurities obtained from resin waste materials is subjected to coarse pulverization to ≤20 mm to obtain the coarse pulverized matter of the waste material-mixed resin. Thereafter, the coarse pulverized matter of the waste material-mixed resin, the pulverized thermoplastic resin, and the acetylated wood powder are kneaded and molded, and thereby a first wood powder-containing compound is manufactured. Then, the wood-like molded article is manufactured by melting the first wood powder-containing compound, and molding the melt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
