POWDER CLASSIFYING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder classifying apparatus capable of classifying fine powder of less than several μm or submicron with high accuracy, and facilitating particle size control and maintenance. SOLUTION: The powder classifying apparatus where powder having a particle size distribution is supplied by pneumatic conveyance, includes a powder supply port for supplying the powder having the particle size distribution to a disc-like cavity, guide vanes arranged to extend from an outer periphery of the disc-like cavity in an inner direction at a predetermined angle, a discharge part for air streams including fine powder discharged from the cavity, a collection part for coarse powder discharged from the cavity, and air nozzles arranged below the guide vanes on an outer peripheral wall of the cavity along the tangential direction of the outer peripheral wall and blow compressed air into an inside of the cavity.
