IMAGE COMMUNICATION PROCESSING UNIT AND FORCED PRINT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print data forcibly and to notify a mail recipient of the fact when a prescribed maximum attached file size is exceeded to store data received by a facsimile into files and attach the file to electronic mail for transmission. SOLUTION: An image communication processing unit creates an image file based on received facsimile document data and determines whether the size of the image file exceeds a preset value. When the size of the image file does not exceed the setting value, the image communication processing unit creates and transmits electronic mail with the image file attached thereto. When the size of the image file exceeds the setting value, the facsimile document data is printed, and electronic mail is created and transmitted to notify thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
