IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which reliability of pixel separation is secured and which has superior display characteristics and a long life. SOLUTION: The image display device has an insulating film 15 interposed between a scanning signal wiring 9 and an interlayer insulating film 14, and is provided with an undercut portion 16 for pixel separation formed by removing a part of this insulating film 15. A second undercut portion 171 is arranged between a first undercut portion 161 formed by removing a part of the insulating film 15 near the line end lower part of the scanning signal wiring 9, and the other first undercut portion 162 arranged near the line end lower part of the adjacent scanning signal wiring, thus a plurality of undercut portions are arranged in a single pixel.
