Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection image display device capable of simultaneously achieving stability of a cooling system and smooth and appropriate adjustment of a projection image. SOLUTION: The projection image display device includes a first housing part (first cabinet 10), a second housing part (second cabinet 20) arranged at the upper stage of the first housing part, and an adjusting mechanism (adjusting mechanism 30) adjusting the tilt of the second housing part to the first housing part. A light source and an optical system (optical unit 40), and an electric circuit system (control circuit unit 50) are arranged in the second housing part, and the cooling system (liquid cooling unit 60) for making a cooling liquid circulate to the light source and a main power source part (main power source unit 80) are housed in the first housing part.
