Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human-body approach detector which can effectively prevent the occurrence of a malfunction, even if an electric wave is transceived by a two-way antenna, which can be inexpensively constituted, and which dispenses with complicated preprocessing steps. SOLUTION: This human-body approach detector comprises: a sensor electrode 11 which is provided near a wall surface 6a on the side of a door 2 inside a housing 6 of a door handle 4 for a vehicle, and which changes an electrostatic capacity by the approach of the human body; and an auxiliary electrode which is provided inside the housing 6, and which is composed of first and second shield electrodes 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b for restraining the electrostatic capacity from being changed by a change in the exterior environment of the sensor electrode 11, and for restraining the electric wave from affecting a main circuit portion 20 of the transceiving antenna 19. An electric potential equal to that of the sensor electrode 11 is applied to the first shield electrodes 12a and 12b, and the ground potential is applied to the second shield electrodes 13a and 13b.
