Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminating and aligning jig for the thermo-compression bonding of plastic cards, which jig does not use heavy components such as a metallic frame and a spacer. SOLUTION: The laminating and aligning jig uses a base plate, and a light weighted guide component 14 composed of one arm turning about a supporting point provided on its end portion. The appearance of the guide component is similar to that of a stapler in stationery. Four guide components 14 are used by fixing them on the base plate 11 instead of conventional one metallic frame. Sheet materials 12 and pealing plates 13 are alternately laminated within the region surrounded by the four guide components 14. As a result, the laminating and aligning jig can be configured so as to continuously support the sheet materials 12 from side surfaces in the variable height during the thermo-compression bonding operation.
