MULTILAYER COATING DIE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight multilayer coating die of a simultaneous multilayer slide hopper type coater, in which the accuracy of coating quantity distribution in the width direction is maintained. SOLUTION: In the multilayer coating die 12 in which a plurality of blocks 21-28 are joined to form a slide surface 12a of a coating liquid on the upper surface of the blocks, coating liquid flow passages 40 are formed on a mating face of the joined blocks, and a plurality of the coating liquids discharged from the coating liquid flow passages 40 are superimposed at the flow down surface 12a to simultaneously multiply-coat a web 16, each of the coating liquid flow passages 40 is provided with a feed port for feeding the coating liquid to the coating liquid flow passage; an expansion slit for expanding the flow of the coating liquid to the coating width of the coating liquid to be applied on the web 1; and an interference slit having a flow passage width formed to be fixed from the terminal end of the expansion slit to the flow down surface 12a and allowing the coating liquid to flow to reach the flow down surface 12a while keeping the coating width.
