Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase a discharging amount of nano-sized mist. SOLUTION: An electrostatic atomizing device comprises the following components: a discharge electrode 31; a counter electrode 32 arranged counter to the discharge electrode 31; a high-voltage generation circuit 2 for applying high voltage between the discharge electrode 31 and the counter electrode 32; and a water supplying part 4 for supplying water to the discharge electrode 31 so as to electrostatically atomize the water supplied to the discharge electrode 31 for generating charged particulate water. A hair dryer has the electrostatic atomizing device for discharging the charged particulate water and hot air. The high-voltage generation circuit 2 has the following components: primary side input terminals 24; a secondary side high-voltage output terminal 25a which boosts input voltage that is received by the primary side input terminals 24 and which outputs the high voltage applied to the discharge electrode 31; a secondary side low-voltage output terminal 25b which is paired with the secondary side high-voltage output terminal 25a and which is connected to the counter electrode 32; and serially connected capacitors 5a and 5b which function as a low-impedance component for achieving low impedance in high frequency and which are connected between the secondary side high-voltage output terminal 25a and the secondary side low-voltage output terminal 25b.
