Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a player to make a his or her own game machine communicate with another game machine so as to receive a character from the other game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a storage means and a communicating means for communicating with other game machines. The game machine stores a group of characters including two characters of a first kind and one or more characters of a second kind to the storage means and stores a parameter value showing a relation between the group of characters and a group of characters of other game machines have to the storage means. Moreover, when the parameter value meets a prescribed condition and any one of one or more characters of the second kind is selected, the group of characters is updated so that the selected character and a prescribed character of the second kind another game machine has are made two new characters of the first kind, and only one or more characters of the second kind newly generated are one or more characters of the second kind.
