Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical receiver which can be simplified in configuration. SOLUTION: The optical receiver comprises a photodiode for receiving signal light, a photocell for receiving power supply light, and a capacitor wherein the photodiode and the photocell are connected in series by connecting one anode with the other cathode and formed into an identical semiconductor chip, and the capacitor has one end connected with the joint of the photodiode and the photocell and connects an electric signal from the photodiode to the ground.
