Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of mechanical noise during load/unload with respect to a load/unload operation control method and a storage device. SOLUTION: The device is constituted so that when load/unload operation in which a head provided at an arm is loaded/unloaded for a recording medium by ramp-load/unload mechanism is controlled, a drive current supplied to a drive part driving the arm is controlled so as to change gradually, in at least one case of load operation and unload operation.
