SOLUTION: In this personal digital assistant 1, a second casing 3 is slidable to a first casing 2. The mobile information terminal 1 has: the QWERTY keyboard disposed in a plane 4 of the second casing 3 exposed when the second casing 3 comes into an open state to the first casing 2 by the slide; and the special keys 6 disposed in a prescribed area 5 at the lower left of the plane 4.
