Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heteropolyoxometallate compound wherein at least one element (B) chosen from the group consisting of early-transition metals comprising Sc, Y, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta and Cr is introduced into vacancy structure(s) of a heteropolyoxometallate anion (A) containing two vacancy structures so as to yield a molar ratio satisfying the relation: element (B)/hetero atom>1. SOLUTION: In the heteropolyoxomethalate compound, at least one element (B) chosen from the group consisting of early-transition metals comprising Sc, Y, Zr, Hf, V, Nb, Ta and Cr is introduced into the vacancy structure(s) of the heteropolyoxomethalate anion (A) containing two vacancy structures so as to yield a molar ratio satisfying the relation: element (B)/hetero atom>1. The heteropolyoxomethalate anion (A) comprises a hetero atom chosen from silicon, phosphorus and germanium and a poly atom which is at least one atom chosen from molybdenum, tungsten and vanadium.
