EQUALIZATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equalization device for attaining sufficient equalization without increasing the number of taps. SOLUTION: A decision circuit 30 sequentially receives a data signal serially transferred on a transmission path to determin whether the input signal is "0" or "1". A decision feedback circuit 40 generates a signal corresponding to a predetermined number of past results obtained by the decision circuit 30 as a first feedback signal for every decision result. A residual component generation circuit 50 generates one pseudo signal corresponding to a plurality of decision results older than the predetermined number of results as a second feedback signal. A calculator 20 corrects the data signal based on the first feedback signal and the second feedback signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
