Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force controller which can suppress control over braking force that a driver does not intend during braking force control for correcting braking force on the basis of a travel environment including a road shape. SOLUTION: The braking force controller controls the braking force controls the braking force on the basis of the travel environment (S101) and external information (S103), and includes a decision means (S104) of deciding necessity of acceleration or deceleration based upon a state in front of a current area, a means (S102) of obtaining a control variable of braking force control based upon the state of the current area, and a means (S111) of reducing the obtained control variable of the braking force when the direction of acceleration or deceleration decided by the decision means to be necessary and the direction of acceleration or deceleration of the found control variable of the braking force are different (S104-Y) as compared with a case when the direction of acceleration or deceleration decided to be necessary and the direction of acceleration or deceleration of the found control variable of the braking force are not different (S104-N).
