SETTING DEVICE FOR FUNCTIONAL DROPLET DISCHARGE HEAD, AND DISCHARGE INSPECTION APPARATUS FOR FUNCTIONAL DROPLET DISCHARGE HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting device which allows a functional droplet discharge head to be easily and quickly set/unset, and to provide a discharge inspection apparatus. SOLUTION: The setting device for setting a functional droplet discharge head 1 having a flange part 5 so as to be positioned at a carriage plate 39, is provided with: an X-axis positioning means 211 for positioning the functional droplet discharge head 1 in the X-axis direction by allowing the long side of the flange part 5 to be butted; a Y-axis positioning means 212 for positioning the functional droplet discharge head 1 in the Y-axis direction by allowing the short side of the flange part 5 to be butted; an X-axis pressing piece 214 pressing the flange part 5 toward the X-axis positioning means; a Y-axis pressing piece 215 pressing the flange part 5 toward the Y-axis positioning means; and a pressing operating means. The pressing operating means comprises: a pressing driving source 82 having output edges and a power transmission mechanism 216 transmitting the forward/backward movement of the output edges to the X-axis pressing piece and the Y-axis pressing piece.
