Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the high output of a green laser. SOLUTION: A dielectric multilayered film 4, in which a first layer contacting a medium 3 and a final layer in the outermost layer are composed of SiO2film layers 4a that are low refrangible dielectrics and the SiO2film layer 4a and a Ta2O5film layer 4b are alternately laminated therebetween, is formed on an exciting light incident side-end of the laser medium 3 that is a YVO4crystal. Each of the film layers 4a, 4b becomes a selectively reflective layer that penetrates 99.9% or more of the wavelength 809 nm of the exciting light and reflects 99.9% or more of the wavelength (1,064 nm) of a fundamental harmonic light and the wavelength (532 nm) of an output light by suitably controlling the film thicknesses of the film layers. In addition, the multilayer film 4 is hardly damaged and is also advantageous to increase a laser output since an electric field formed by an absorption of the light energy is easily escaped to the laser medium 3 and the atmosphere.
