ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT, AND MENU SCREEN DISPLAY METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize a selected item, when displaying a menu in electronic equipment, and to enhance amusement performance. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a display part 20, an operation part 30 for inputting various indications, and a display image control means 200, the display image control means 200 displays a menu screen including a plurality of menu item images, when a request for displaying the menu screen is input from the operation part 30, and the display image control means 200 displays a text image indicating at least each menu item, when displaying the menu screen, or displays a special shape image in response to the menu item, together with the text image, displays intensifyingly the menu item when a specified image item is selected by operating the operation part 30, and animation-displays the special shape image in response to the menu item.
