CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump capable of relaxing a thrust load generated by negative pressure on a suction port side and applied toward a suction port side of a pump case from an impeller, of extending life, and of being efficiently driven, and miniaturizable. SOLUTION: A pump housing part 7, and a suction port 9 and a discharge port 11 opened to the pump housing part 7 are formed on the pump case 1. The impeller 6 is housed in the pump housing part 7. The impeller 6 is rotatably journaled by a shaft body 23 arranged in the pump housing part 7. A stator 13 driving a rotor 28 formed with a permanent magnet arranged on the impeller 6 is arranged as a drive means rotationally driving the impeller 6 around the shaft body 23. A magnetic force provision means providing magnetic force to the impeller 6 toward the side opposite to the suction port 9 side in the axial direction of the impeller 6 is provided separately from the drive means.
