POWER STEERING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device enabling to performing automatic steering control in emergency while preventing the worsening of a steering feeling during normal travel. SOLUTION: Counterclockwise and clockwise rotation pressure receiving faces 42, 43 formed on an input shaft 40 and counterclockwise and clockwise rotation pistons 120, 220 have inclined-face contact with each other to impart torque to the input shaft 40 in the counterclockwise and clockwise rotating direction. The counterclockwise and clockwise rotation pistons 120, 220 thrust first inclined faces 42a, 43a of the counterclockwise and clockwise rotation pressure receiving faces 42, 43, respectively, during automatic steering control to generate relatively great steering torque, while they thrust second inclined faces 42b, 43b of the counterclockwise and clockwise rotation pressure receiving faces 42, 43, different in inclination angle from the first inclined faces 42a, 43a, respectively, during normal travel to generate relatively small reaction torque.
