Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hopper type combine harvester that secures a necessary fuel tank volume and effectively improves a machine body balance without causing a trouble in the movement operation of a grain storage body. SOLUTION: The combine harvester includes a hopper 7 that faces the outside of the machine body and bags threshed grains, a support 8 that receives the grain storage body B having bagged the grains received from a grain discharge port 7a attached to the hopper 7, and a fuel tank 9 that is arranged at the back end portion of the support 8 and stores a motor fuel. A front cover 11 for protecting a range from the fuel tank to its outer end is installed at the front portion of the fuel tank 9, and the front cover 11 is equipped with a guide surface in which the outer end is retreated in a range W from the grain discharge port 7a of the hopper 7 facing the front of the front cover to the outside of the front cover.
