CHARGING STATE EQUALIZER, AND ELECTRIC MOTOR VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging state equalizer which can perform effective equalization, even if equalization processing of the charging state is interrupted on the way. SOLUTION: The charging state equalizer which equalizes the charging state of each cell 1 of a battery pack includes a first discharging means 3 which can be connected to a single cell selected freely from among a plurality of cells 1 connected in series to constitute the battery pack, and a second discharging means 4 which is provided for each cell constituting the battery pack and can be connected to/disconnected from each cell. A main processing circuit 7 sets an equalization sustainable time by the first discharging means 3 and also sets an equalization target value so that the charging state is lowered as the equalization sustainable time increases, setting the lowest charging state of the cell to the limit, allowing discharging of cells in order from the cell in the highest charged state as long as the equalization sustainable time continues.
