CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR NONVOLATILE MEMORY AND STORAGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the number of arbitrarily available physical blocks in the physical blocks of a non-volatile memory device by using information of an FAT, and to facilitate averaging the number of erasures of the physical blocks. SOLUTION: This control device of a non-volatile memory is provided with a file system control part 102e for analyzing FAT in the file system of a non-volatile memory device 101, and for identifying an unused logical block; a logical/physical block address conversion table management part 102b for acquiring a first physical block from a physical block address associated with the logical block address of the unused logical block, and for releasing the association with the logical block by using the table of the logical/physical block address conversion table information part; and a physical block address information management part 102c for registering the first physical block in the physical block address information part as the arbitrarily available second physical block.
