Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment ink composition for fixing a written line, the ink composition being applied to a writing object cloth before writing in the case of writing on a cloth such as a woven fabric and nonwoven fabric with an oil ink composition, being effective for surely fixing the written line with an oil ink composition for cloth on a cloth without causing the blurring of the line, and exhibiting excellent washing resistance; and to provide an application tool holding the ink composition. SOLUTION: The ink composition for fixing a written line at least contains a solvent and a modified nylon resin. The solvent is water and/or a lower alcohol, and the modified nylon resin is at least one selected from alcohol-soluble nylon resins and water-soluble nylon resins.
