Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adaptive control method for guard interval length capable of controlling guard interval adaptively, while averting deterioration in transmission efficiency, without using any special functions, for example, in estimating the maximum delay time. SOLUTION: For example, a Slave station 2 transmits an association request as a common control signal, a Master station 1 sends a random access response as a common control signal, the Master station 1 transmits an association response as an individual control signal to the Slave station 2, and the Slave station 2 transmits association completion as an individual control signal to the Master station 1. The Master and Slave stations 1, 2 executing a series of processing execute first transmission of the individual control signal by setting guard interval length to an initial value. When a reception side cannot receive the signal normally, the guard interval length is extended stepwise to execute the transmission of the individual control signal repeatedly until the reception succeeds.
