Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply device capable of smoothly conveying a chip capacitor. SOLUTION: The component supply device has a conveyance groove 30a for arraying chip capacitors 2 one by one in their long-side directions and conveying them to a pick-up position, and a posture restriction means of controlling a chip capacitor 2 conveyed to the pickup position into a posture wherein any one of flanks each consisting of a long side and a short side faces down and the long side is put in the conveyance direction. The cross section of the conveyance groove 30a perpendicular to the conveyance direction is ≥2 times as large as the cross section of a square cross section including the short side of the chip capacitor 2 as one side, and the chip capacitor 2 being conveyed is allowed to be turned around the direction of the long side.
