CLOVERLEAF CONTACT OF COMPRESSIBILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact contact assembly capable of surely connecting two rows of terminals. SOLUTION: A wire (12) is bent into a row of contacts (14) that are each of miniature cloverleaf shape with each cloverleaf having a plurality of loops (21, 22, 23, 24). The cloverleaf contacts are then cut apart at cut parts (40) to electrically isolate them from each other, and middle parts of the cloverleaf contacts are embedded into a polymer block (43). The combination of a row of cloverleaf contacts and the block, are placed between upper and lower groups of terminals (30, 32) and compressed between them, to connect each upper terminal to each lower one.
