When a purchase request is sent to a store server from the user, the user database is accessed based on the user ID and a password code from the store server to identify the user. When the user is identified, a corresponding account number is retrieved from the user database based on the user ID, and a charge payment request is sent to the bank server. The bank server carries out the charge withdrawing processing from an account corresponding to this account number transmitted with the charge payment request and informs the store server of the request source of the performance result.
