Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a stage of fixing processing before smoothing processing is performed in a smoothing apparatus, a phenomenon that photomedia are not suitably separated from a fixing device is caused due to presence of the toner receiving layer of the photomedia, since the toner receiving layer sometimes acts like an adhesive in the margin of the leading end of the photomedia. SOLUTION: Using wax-containing toner, a prescribed image pattern is formed at the margin of the leading end as the non-image forming region of photomedia, thus occurrence of a separation defect in a fixing device is prevented.
