HOT WATER STORAGE TANK AND HEAT PUMP WATER HEATER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater comprising a hot water storage tank capable of suppressing generation of the water of an intermediate temperature. SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater has a water inlet port 11b formed on a bottom portion of a tank main body 11a and is connected with a water supply pipe 14 for supplying tap water, a baffle plate 18 disposed roughly at an upper part of the water inlet port 11b, and a projecting portion 17 positioned at an upper part with respect to the baffle plate 18, of an inner wall of the tank main body 11a and projecting inward, thus the generation of the water of intermediate temperature can be suppressed and a boiling-up operation of high efficiency can be performed.
