IMAGE OUTPUT DEVICE AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device that has a plurality of printers provided therein and is capable of notifying a user that a printing time period will be extended when a malfunction occurs on a printer, and allowing the user to select continuing of processing. SOLUTION: This image output device 1 acquires image data from an input medium which is brought by a user to store it to a storage section 302 and performs distributed print processing by driving the plurality of printers by means of a printing means 103 according to an ordered image and a number of ordered sheets input by way of a print order input means 105. When the printer has a malfunction, a printing malfunction correspondence means 113 notifies the user that the printing time period will be longer than usual, and then allows the user to select whether or not the print processing is to be continued. In addition, it is possible that a prediction value of a time period necessary for printing is computed and the user is notified of the result together with presence or absence of a malfunction, and then the user is allowed to select continuing of the processing.
